Island Paradise: A Beautiful Deck with Railings and a Stylish Pergola

On Sanibel Island, we took on a project that started with demolishing the old deck to make way for a fresh new build. The first step was installing new concrete footings, ensuring a strong and stable foundation. This was especially important because the footings needed to support the existing house’s roof structure. With careful planning and precision, we created a solid base for the new deck while maintaining the integrity of the home.

Next, we moved on to installing the composite deck, creating a durable and low-maintenance outdoor space. We also added siding decks, seamlessly blending the structure with its surroundings. To enhance the look and safety, we installed beautiful white railings, giving the deck a clean and elegant finish. Finally, we set up aluminum posts for the pergola, adding both style and shade to complete this stunning outdoor retreat.

To finish the project, we installed a sturdy insulated roof on the pergola, providing shade and protection from the elements. With the structure complete, we brought in all the remaining outdoor furniture, making the space both stylish and comfortable. Now, this new outdoor oasis is ready to be enjoyed on Sanibel Island, offering the perfect blend of beauty and functionality!
